The Saldanha Wine & Spirit Co was established in 2023 by the Badenhorst Family, well known in the Swartland wine region. Their mission is to celebrate the forgotten heroes of the wine world, the Fortified and Sweet wines. South Africa has a strong tradition and history of producing these wines. We honour and celebrate with you the incomparable variety of styles through small and selected once-off bottlings.

In South Africa we just call this Extra Dry or Ekstra Droog.

Made with Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grapes
Aged for 4 years under Flor yeast, creating the nutty elements associated with this microbiological ageing process.
