Only seven rows of biodynamically farmed Cabernet Franc is used for this small batch wine. The Oudeberg vineyard is located on a south facing slope in the Polkadraai Hills. Soil health is maintained with cover crop mixes and the farms trusty waddle of ducks.

Kept modest, to allow the site to speak. Handpicked grapes, 10% incorporated as whole bunches, were naturally fermented in open-top vessels with regular punch downs before being basket pressed. The wine was matured in older French oak barrels for 8 months prior to
bottling, unfiltered.

Perfumed nose with cranberries and dried rosemary. The palate shows freshness with concentrated fruit flavours of plum and blackberries juxtaposed with chalky tannins. Major aging
potential.
