“A place became the beginning of a love story—but it was also the start of something far greater. In the heat of a South African Summer in 2017, destiny brought us, Tanika Paris (South African) and Daniele Lenuzza (Italian) together. Our paths intertwined, our eyes met, and an incredible journey started unfolding.

​We were drawn to the breathtaking beauty of the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge and the rustic charm of the Swartland. We found ourselves captivated by these two remarkable wine-growing regions; these lands ignited their shared passion for winemaking. Through these diverse terroirs, we discovered not only the depth of our love but also a profound connection to the soil beneath our feet.

‘Wines of Place’ is a concept both simple and profound—rooted in intention and a deep appreciation for South Africa’s unique wine-growing regions. Each vineyard site we chose, holds its own distinct character, shaped by ideal microclimates for specific cultivars.
