“We call this wine Earth because of the soil types found in this vineyard. The Paardeberg is mostly associated with granite and here we find added to that, quartz which runs through this vineyard and adds a lot of interest.” – winemaker’s notes

This is old vine, dry-farmed bush vine Chenin Blanc, planted in 1968, on granite and quartz in Swartland (Paardeberg).
