Eenzaamheid is one of the oldest wine farms in the Agter-Paarl, with a family history that stretches back seven generations. The farm has remained in the same family since 1698, and today the Briers-Louw family continues that tradition with a focus on making wines that reflect the character of their land.
What makes Eenzaamheid especially interesting is its dryland vineyards. The vines grow without irrigation in the deep shale soils of the Agter-Paarl, producing grapes with concentration, freshness and plenty of character. There is something wonderfully authentic about these wines. They offer a taste of an old farming tradition, shaped by the land and by generations of experience.
