Thelema’s goal is to make the best possible wines per vintage from their estate grapes.  Situated on the South Easterly side of the Simonsberg Mountain with elevations 530m above sea level with mainly south-facing slopes, possessing some of the highest elevations in Stellenbosch. The high altitude and the rich red soils are ideal for premium quality wine grape production.

Its through the understanding of their optimal climate and soil type that Thelema has firmly entrenched themselves as one of the leaders in Cabernet Sauvignon, placing Stellenbosch Cabernets firmly on the global wine map.

This wine shows exceptional depth, weight and length.  There are savoury flavours with some blackcurrant; graphite; and pencil shavings.  The delicate oak is a bonus along with the purity of fruit.

It is drinking well now, but you can tuck this wine away for 15 years for greater reward.
