“Six varietals, one luscious red. Our creation story in a bottle.”
As the saying goes, the story is good, but the wine is even better.
We all want a wine that we can trust to impress everyone we choose to share it with, a wine we can enjoy often and a wine that doesn’t need a new mortgage to obtain. This is exactly what Six Legs is. A serious not so serious wine, with fruit, spice, floral notes and a freshness that cuts through the tight tannin grip. Utterly delicious and a sure conversation maker when enjoyed with friends.
A new venture between two brothers, the one, Christopher, who needs a good wine to enjoy often and doesn’t like boring brand, the other, Alastair, the guru in the cellar who crafts delicious “beetle juice”
The first vintage is aptly named Genesis. It’s a blend of 6 varieties, all from Stellenbosch, each bringing another flavour to this no-fuss wine. It’s not about the varieties, but rather about the synergy of flavours and textures. But, because we know the answer, we’ll share it. Lead by Shiraz, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese.
