The complexity of this wine lies in the collection of seven distinct vineyard sites on the Olifantsberg Mountain. The blend is created after each component has matured separately for nine months in oak. Alluring aromatics of citrus peel, white blossoms, and spice. An intense, multi-layered wine that is round in texture, with tangy acidity and a savoury finish.

The Matriarch 2023 scored 96 points in Tim Atkin’s South Africa Special Report, with the 2022 and 2021 vintages each scoring 95 points.

A blend of Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, and Carignan

The complexity of The Bull lies in the collection of 10 different vineyard sites on the Olifantsberg Mountain. Long, gentle extractions are employed, and the blend is created after each component has matured separately. Stony and wild, with sage, spicy bramble, and red-berry fruit. A wine that defines our purpose.

The Bull 2021 scored 96 points in Tim Atkin’s 2025 South Africa Special Report, with the 2020 and 2019 vintages each scoring 95 points.
