The 2023 harvest across Boekenhoutskloof’s diverse vineyard holdings proved to be another high-quality vintage, characterised by ideal pre-harvest conditions of warm but moderate temperatures and excellent soil moisture that set the stage for a long, even ripening season. Our vineyards delivered consistently strong quality through the early and mid-season. While much of the Cape dealt with an unusually heavy rain event in the later season, presenting challenges for later-ripening vineyards, Boekenhoutskloof’s strategic approach – including virus-free vineyard sites that ripen earlier, avoiding over-reliance on single vineyards, careful canopy management, selective harvesting, and adaptive cellar techniques – allowed the winemaking team to navigate these challenges successfully, ultimately producing wines of great quality across all appellations.

We’ve put a mixed case together for the collector and the explorer.
Try them all and then decide which ones you would like to put a few away for a few years. The aging potential of these wines have been proved over and over. This is an investment worth making.
