Anysbos Tesame 2020

BLEND: Grenache Noir (59%) Shiraz (26%) Cinsault (15%)

The grapes of Anysbos grow on shale and sandstone, north and south facing slopes, from 35m to 135m above sea level.  Some vines are freestanding, others trellised.  Each vineyard has its own very individual character and potential.  They work in tandem and complement each other to bring out the best in their wines.  Anysbos believes together is better, stronger and more interesting.

Corlien: A bright and fragrant wine with gentle rose potpourri and red cherries. A fine tannin grip and fresh acidity on finish. As the vineyards mature and find their path to the minerals deep in the soils, future vintages promise to become more complex over time. It’s exciting to hear about future planned plantings of more Grenache, Cinsaut and the likes. With these grapes and Marelise as winemaker, we have only seen the beginning of something great.
