A bright and fruit-forward expression of the variety from Bottelray, with a savoury, spicy edge adding texture and length. The nose shows a medley of red fruits, notably pomegranate, cherry and wild strawberry, alongside cured meat and sweet spice from cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is similarly vibrant and red-fruited, with focus and tension delivered by fine-grained, dry tannins and a fresh acidity.
40% Whole bunch fermentation, raised in older oak barrels for 11 months, unfiltered and unfined.
