Thelema, located at the top of Helshoogte pass, on the slopes of Simonsberg, has a track record like few other farms.
Established in 1983 by the Webb family, lead by Gyles, a former accountant from Durban, there’s no doubt that this farm is one of Stellenbosch’s true jewels in the crown. By the mid 90’s Thelema’s wines sold out within a month after release, making it one of the most sought-after wine estates in South Africa. The Webb family describe Thelema as “one of the most beautiful places on earth”.
