Craven Wines is a Stellenbosch-based, new-wave project founded by husband-and-wife duo Mick and Jeanine Craven, built on a philosophy of crafting honest, site-specific wines with minimal intervention. Working exclusively with carefully selected vineyards across Stellenbosch — particularly granite-rich sites in areas like Polkadraai Hills and Faure — they focus on single-varietal, single-site expressions that highlight purity, freshness, and a true sense of place. With a hands-off approach in the cellar (natural fermentations, old oak, and minimal additions), Craven Wines has become one of South Africa’s most exciting modern producers, known for precise, energetic wines that reflect both vineyard and vintage with striking clarity.
