On the palate it is velvety smooth and beautifully poised with great purity of fruit in harmony with crisp acidity and fine tannins. – winemaker’s notes

Description
Jean-Claude and Carolyn Martin bought a 40ha piece of land in the Hemel and Aarde Ridge in 2002, which had never been planted to grapes. The vision of establishing a model wine farm and realising the potential of the area might have seemed a bit crazy at the time. But put two determined people together, with wine practically running through their veins, and see how the dream becomes reality. Today Creation stands proudly as one of the Hemel and Aarde big success stories, growing by popularity and quality year after year.
Hemel & Aarde has a big focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, due to the cool maritime climate. Over the years JC has perfected the art of working with these two varieties, making it possible to present a focussed tasting.
