SUMMARY:Saturday Sipping Session with Gabrielskloof
DESCRIPTION:Gabriëlskloof sits on a rise in the Botrivier valley between two mountain ranges; the Houwhoek range to the North and the Babylonstoren range to the South. The farm is 15km from the Atlantic ocean at Hawston as the crow flies\, and the vineyards benefit from cooling maritime breezes. \nIn total\, 12 grape varieties are planted on the property on a variety of soils. From the highest lying and windiest blocks around the winery itself where we grow the Sauvignon Blanc to the rocky\, lowest-yielding vines on the north-facing slope that provide our Syrah on sandstone\, special care has been given to the aptitude of each block for each respective cultivar. \nThe farm is home to hundreds of varieties of indigenous Cape fynbos and a host of local animal life\, including a troop of Cape baboons\, a multitude of birds and the occasional mountain leopard. \nLineup:\nAmphora Sauvignon Blanc\nMadame Lucy Mcc\nThe Blend Red Blend\nWholebunch Syrah \n  \nJoin us at Wine menu to sip some of Gabrielskloof’s creations.
