SUMMARY:Saturday Sipping Session - Minimalist Wines
DESCRIPTION:Minimalist Wines was founded by winemaker Sam Lambson\, whose passion for Syrah began with a fascination for the variety’s depth\, elegance and ability to express a sense of place. His approach is simple: focus on one grape and let the vineyards do the talking. \nWorking with cool-climate sites across Stellenbosch\, Elgin and Cape Agulhas\, Sam explores the different expressions of Syrah found in the Cape. Each region brings its own character\, shaped by its soils\, climate and proximity to the ocean. In the cellar\, he takes a gentle approach\, with as little intervention as possible. The aim is to preserve the character of the fruit and the place it comes from. \nThe result is a collection of distinctive Syrahs that offer more than one expression of the same variety. For those who enjoy discovering the finer details of a wine\, Minimalist is an opportunity to explore just how much a vineyard can influence what ends up in the glass. \n11:00–14:00\nWine Menu\, Kramerville\nFree tasting | 18+ only
