DESCRIPTION:On this Saturday’s sipping session we will be tasting the beautiful wines of Survivor’s winemaker. We are looking forward to enjoying them with you! \nEstablished in 2014\, Gerhard van der Wath made a clever decision to place the heart of the business within easy access to Stellenbosch\, Swartland and the Elgin valley. This way the farm could form strong and meaningful relationships with great growers in exceptional vineyard sites across some of the most renowned wine regions in the Cape. Pierre Wahl is the well-respected Cellar Master and has earned the nickname the ‘Pope of Pinotage’ for his exceptional expertise with this particular grape variety. His skills\, however\, are vast as he is also a member the Cape Winemakers Guild and received the Cape Winemaker of the Year award from Diners Club in 2016.
