DESCRIPTION:A very unique selection of wines will be poured this Saturday by De Kleine Wijn Koöp. \nDe Kleine Wijn Koöp is run by winemaker\, Wynand Grobler\, and his wife\, Anya. The Groblers regard the ‘co-operative’ as a two-man family business\, and manage the business from a small cellar and a dedicated team in the heart of Paarl. Wynand pays little attention to corporate structures or large cellar teams – his main goal is to be personally involved in the winemaking process. He produces only small quantities of wine with grapes from prestigious\, and somewhat mysterious vineyards of Stellenbosch\, Swartland\, Walker Bay\, Franschhoek\, Piekenierskloof and Agter-Paarl. \nAs mysterious as the Black Cat. As nomadic as David Kramer’s station wagon. As heroic as Wolraad Woltemade’s horse. With tiny volumes\, De Kleine Wijn Koöp specialises in high-quality wines. De Kleine Wijn Koöp is a place for us to give creative expression and play a little outside the conventions of the store shelf.
