DESCRIPTION:Join us every Saturday as we sip and explore different wines. \nOn the 30th of September\, we are hosting Baleia (which means Whale in Portuguese). \nThis is a very special farm for an array of reasons. Firstly it has a very unique terroir which consists of mineral-rich soils that contain limestone as well as salt deposits. The site has harsh climatic conditions and the wines aptly reflect it’s maritime positioning. It is the first and only vineyard in the Lower Duivenhoks River where winemaker Gunter Schultz and the Baleia team harness a holistic approach and have a deep understanding of farming in this special landscape. \nCome and join us to taste these wonderful wines\, which come from such a special site! \nWe will be tasting: \nBaleia Chardonnay 2020\nBaleia Limestone Debate Chardonnay 2020\nBaleia Deborah Rose 2023\nBaleia Vinho Rochas 2022\nBaleia Conglomeration Effect Syrah 2019
